Crochet A: Beginner
Start Here!
Kids are going nuts for crochet! The cute little stuffies are all the rage - you can get a kit almost anywhere.
YouTube can only get a newbie so far, technique is everything for long lasting enjoyment of textile crafts. We want to help your new crocheter build skills and technique
This is beginner Group A class. No prerequisite.
Learning the important basics of tension and proper use of the tools will allow your crocheter to gain confidence to try new things!
With colorful yarn, big imagination, and plenty of encouragement, kids will gain confidence, improve their fine motor skills, and have a blast creating something with their own hands!
No experience needed—just bring your enthusiasm, and we’ll provide the rest.
It takes about 2-3 Beginner classes (depends on how much they practice at home). You can select the dates that work for you.
Come stitch, laugh, and learn with us—sign up today!
Crochet B: Intermediate
Congrats! Your kiddo has learned the basics of tension and single crochet.
PLEASE CHECK IN WITH US TO SEE IF YOUR CHILD IS READY FOR B. THEY MUST HAVE COMPLETED THEIR FIRST PROJECT FROM A. Thanks!
They are ready for our second class to hone those new skills and get some speed to their technique.
We will still work on tension and finishing up that project or start a new one.
In this class, your crocheter will start to see their stitch anatomy, begin consistent stitches and gain the confidence to start on their own.
We will coach them through making accessories like headbands, hair scrunchies or bows and their first Cat Hat!
They can bring in a "beginner" project they want to do or buy a kit from us. A beginner project would be a scarf, cowl, or anything that is not 3 dimensional (like a stuffy).
We ask that you purchase a $20 gift card for them to use if they need to buy yarn for a project. All students get 20% off yarn purchase for a project. This helps them move forward without waiting for someone to buy them yarn.
Your crocheter can sign up as often as they’d like ~ join the club. You can sign up for as many dates that work for you. It’s a great social club, where the kids get to stitch and chat.
